Why submit the material to be printed in pdf?

The pdf format is the best format to use if you want to print your documents, because it retains the formatting of the original document regardless of the device, whether you want to print it or just view it, and it takes no longer than a few seconds to create. I have material that has both colour and black and white pages. How do you count this?

We have received a lot of feedback that the best-known photocopier network charges the whole document in colour if it has a colour page. We find that outrageous, we would never charge that.

When you bring a document to the printer, our staff will put the whole document on the monitor with a custom view setting and calculate how many black and white pages and how many colour pages are in it. We do the calculation based on this, so you pay exactly what you print.

Can you make an instant bond at any time?

How long does instant bundling actually take?

The wording refers to the knitting, which takes 15-20 minutes. Printing, assembly, and queuing time are not included in the binding time.

Do I need to sign in?

No! Orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, no need to check in, we can take all orders, we have not really turned anyone away in recent years, but as the number of orders increases, the waiting time and therefore the turnaround time can increase, so it is worth taking more time to book than for other services. It turns out that one card is incorrect. Can you fix it?

Yes! The binding system we use can be opened. We can open and close it in a minute or two, so we can easily replace a faulty page.

What format should I use for my thesis?

The most secure solution is PDF. .doc files may have problems due to incompatibility with different versions of Word, which may take longer to resolve, so we cannot guarantee the completion time for material in .doc files. PDF creation for Microsoft word: “File->Save As” and change the file format to pdf in the drop-down bar below the name.

Do they print a sticker on the cover?

em! We do not deal with low quality sticker solutions, we only emboss the thesis on the black leatherette cover.

The front cover will be embossed in gold lettering (in the amount required). The front and back cover will be held together with a leather covered metal spine which gives a strong, flexible hold and can also be gold plated.

In which colour can I order the diploma binder?

In our shop you can order the binding in black, blue, brown, burgundy, green and white.

How much margin do you need in your thesis?

To find out about the margin, check your school’s website. If there is no requirement or you don’t know what it is, the knitting margin is usually one cm, i.e. the margin on the left side should be that much larger. The most common setting is 35mm left margin, 25mm right margin for single-sided printing.

What is a spine label?

Some institutions also ask for the thesis to be labelled on the spine. The spine is the bound side, i.e. the “edge” of the thesis

How many sheets can be bound?

The system we use is officially designed for a maximum of 300 pages, but in practice it is more like 295-297 pages that fit in the largest spine. It is also possible to bind thicker material, but the price and lead time is specific to each case, so please ask for a quote.

I don’t understand Word. Can you help me format my thesis?
