Laminating
With lamination, also known as foiling, you can make your important documents and favourite pictures durable in a few minutes in our Budapest shop.
We recommend it for restaurants, cafés, for the menu/cafeterias, for certificates, for outdoor advertising, among other things. From business/passport cards to A2 (420x594mm).
Lamination: cheap, durable, and professional looking
Lamination is the process of applying a transparent film or foil layer to a sheet of paper.
Once the paper is placed in a plastic film bag, the laminator burns the film at about 120C depending on the thickness of the laminating film, while using rollers to prevent it from becoming airborne.
As the film overhangs the document, it seals the edges and makes the paper waterproof. For example, address cards are also laminated in document offices to make them more durable.
Our laminated papers are durable and easy to clean.
With a wide range of uses
By laminating your documents, you can make a huge difference, improving their appearance and efficiency.
Our documents look more professional and last longer than non-laminated products, which is a big advantage because it saves money and printing costs.
Many businesses use laminated materials, such as frequently used information materials, business cards, posters, flyers. It can also be used to protect important documents at home, such as certificates, social security cards, photographs.
Please note that lamination is a permanent and irreversible process. Please make sure that the paper/board is not heat sensitive as it may be destroyed during the lamination process. Examples include baby ultrasound images, concert and cinema tickets, cash register receipts and transport passes. In our shop our colleagues will try to identify these materials but unfortunately it is not possible to test the paper before laminating.
First impressions are one of the most important effects,
we make on our fellow human beings
– and we don’t have a second chance. Whether or not a business deal is struck, whether or not a first date is followed by a second, whether a friendship is formed or we part ways forever, may depend on it.
Why should it be any different with our printed materials and documents? Lamination is the best, quickest and easiest way to give your documents a much higher quality look and make them more durable and long-lasting.
Lamination is the process of coating a surface with a layer of transparent film or foil. The aim is to make the surface stronger and to protect the print from wear.
A laminated document is resistant to fingerprints, moisture and creasing.
The plastic coating that is applied to the document during lamination not only makes it more durable, but also gives it a significantly higher quality, more professional look.
Lamination enhances colour and contrast, and the laminated document resists fingerprints, moisture and wrinkles.
It’s a good idea to laminate printed pages of presentations, proposal covers, frequently used documents, photos, or anything you want to preserve or enhance over time.
No second chance at a first impression! So make sure it’s as perfect as possible!
